Whether you buy the timeline or not, the framing is the most useful contribution. Mostaque names three futures he sees as actually stable — Digital Feudalism (UBI as servitude), Great Fragmentation (nationalist AI economies), or Human Symbiosis (a redesigned settlement) — and then spends most of the book on the third. The introduction alone is worth reading; the appendices and engineering chapters get into the weeds on what "redesign" would have to look like in concrete terms.
